Window tint quality depends partly on film, partly on installation, and partly on how you care for it. Proper maintenance extends lifespan significantly.
First Week: Critical Curing Period
Do Not:
- Open windows for 3-7 days (adhesive needs to set)

- Touch or peel the tint edges
- Park in direct sun if possible

- Allow windows to fully cure in cool environment
- Use AC instead of rolling down windows
- Let condensation dry naturally (takes 2-4 weeks to fully disappear)
Cleaning Tinted Windows

Signs Your Tint Needs Attention
Normal: Small bubbles first month (disappear as curing completes)
Warning Signs:
- Large persistent bubbles (month 3+)
- Purple/brown discoloration (film failing)
- Peeling edges (adhesive failure)
- Inconsistent color patches
- Water seepage at edges
If any of these appear, contact installer within warranty period (typically 1-3 years).
Seasonal Maintenance
Summer: Increase cleaning frequency. UV exposure accelerates wear. Park in shade when possible.

Spring/Fall: Standard maintenance sufficient. Monitor for any adhesive issues during temperature transitions.
